Intel does not outsource processor production to Samsung. CPU production remains in-house, but simple designs such as chipsets are still up for discussion.

AMD Ryzen 3000 Singlecore benchmarks appeared, much faster than i9-9900K

Singlecore benchmarks are leaked to the AMD Ryzen 3000 CPUs Ryzen 5 3600X, Ryzen 7 3700X and 3800X. All three are faster than the Intel Core i9-9900K.

Nvidia Ampere is expected to come in 2020. The GPU comes with a 7nm structure width, but is supposed to be manufactured by Samsung instead of TSMC.

TSMC accidentally destroyed $550 million worth of wafers due to a manufacturing defect. Nvidia GPUs and Huawei SoCs are also affected.

Ryzen 3000, X570 and Radeon Navi allegedly launch on July 7th

AMD is updating its entire product range this year. Ryzen 3000, the chipset X570 with PCIe 4.0 and Radeon Navi will be released on July 7th.
