The rumors about the Nvidia super GPUs are getting more and more concise. The launch of the RTX 2060 Super and RTX 2070 Super is reportedly on July 9.

Nvidia Super: Faster GPUs than AMD Navi Killer

The fact that Nvidia is planning new graphics cards is no secret anymore. The GPUs are slightly improved versions of the current Turing generation and come with more cores on the market. The RTX 2060 Super also gets more VRAM, the RTX 2080 Super faster memory. The graphics cards are mainly intended as opponents for the upcoming Radeon Navi graphics cards from AMD. The RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT perform a bit above the current RTX 2060 and RTX 2070.

Also the prices are already leaked. Nvidia orients itself on the launch prices of the current Turing series, but at the top end. For a long time there were two different versions of each GPU, one with an A chip and one with a non-A chip. Since Nvidia has removed the Non-A-Chips however, there are only more A-Chips, but also favorable prices. The super-graphics cards now fill this slightly created gap above. So the RTX 2080 Super is supposed to start for $799. The RTX 2070 Super costs $599, the RTX 2060 Super $429.

RTX 2060 Super and RTX 2070 Super launch on the 9th of July

However, it was completely unclear when the graphics cards would be launched on the market. Already before Computex 2019 Nvidia released the first video with the initial reference to the Super-GPUs. However, both Computex and E3 2019 have passed without announcement by Nvidia. Also today is a spread announcement date for the Nvidia Super-GPUs. The original source, wccftech, denies this now, but has further dates in the article. Accordingly, the RTX 2060 Super and RTX 2070 Super will be launched together on the 9th of July, two days after Ryzen 3000 and Radeon Navi. According to wccftech, this date had already been communicated to the board partners and was therefore difficult to postpone. The RTX 2080 Super, on the other hand, will be launched slightly later, on the 23rd of July. The new interview is scheduled for the 2nd of July.

Both the introduction date of all Nvidia Super GPUs and the launch date of the RTX 2080 Super are not yet fixed. As always, this information should be treated with caution – they are unconfirmed leaks.
